I love this car. Been over 6 years and 80k miles, and I don’t see us parting ways any time soon. She’s over a decade old now with 120k on the ticker.

I drove mine to work today. That’s because the 3 is eating its front tires and canvas is showing. Didn’t really feel like a blowout, so I made the sacrifice and took the M3 to work.

I’d love to drive it! That’s my mechanic’s wife’s toy.

Haha - I’m still trying to figure out what the new rotation will be with the new truck.

How much are you driving it these days?

Love it. Most people would have no idea that car is 10 years old.

Just once a week the past month, but I think I’ll shoot for driving it to work twice per week. We’ll see what the winter brings here - the last one was really mild.

I haven’t really driven mine as much as thought before I moved here. I leave my badge in the 3 and since my garage is no longer attached to my apartment, it’s a pain to run the keys back up.

Top tip: decide on one day a week to take it to work (Friday?) and get in the habit of putting your badge in/with your wallet Thursday when you get out of the 3. I actually drove my car yesterday (rain today) and forgot my badge in the truck, but the folks at the gate know me well enough by know that they just let me in and out.

I wear it on a lanyard , so that wouldn’t work, but I have been taking it with me into my apartments when I remember.

Just don’t take it off your neck when you get in the car after work Thursday evening! =)

Better than I’m fairing right now. If you get close you can see... (quiet sobbing) rust!

I’ve ground down and fixed one spot already, but now there are 3-4 spots and I’m wondering if I really want to go down the rabbit hole. If I could park it inside for a few weeks I’d dive in.
